What this is

Verniera is a set of free web instruments that read publicly available information from Instagram profiles and present it as a measurement. Using the site means accepting what follows.

What Verniera provides

Each instrument reads what a public Instagram profile already shows to any visitor and returns a figure with the time of the reading attached. Where a figure is an estimate rather than a reading — the audience quality score and the earnings range — the instrument says so and shows a range.

Verniera does not guarantee that a figure is current, complete or fit for a decision you are about to make. Instagram changes what it publishes without notice, and a reading is only ever a reading of that moment.

What Verniera does not provide

• Access to private accounts, in any form, by any route.
• Any figure that Instagram does not publish, including exact counts above 10,000 followers, reach, impressions, saves and shares.
• Followers, likes, views or any other engagement. Nothing here sells those.
• Advice. The earnings range is arithmetic against public benchmarks, not a recommendation about what to charge or pay.

Limits on use

• Twenty lookups an hour from one connection.
• No automated scraping of this site, no scripted request loops, and no attempt to work around the hourly limit.
• No use of the figures here to harass, impersonate or profile a person.
• No reselling of readings as if they were your own service.

Where the limit is exceeded, requests are refused for the rest of the hour. Where it is exceeded persistently, they are refused for longer.

Images belong to the people who made them

A profile photograph shown by the profile picture viewer belongs to whoever took it, and the person in it has their own claim over how their likeness is used. Opening a public image through this site grants you no rights over it. What you do with it afterwards is yours to answer for.

No affiliation with Instagram

Verniera is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Instagram is a trademark of Meta Platforms, Inc., used here only to describe what these instruments read. This site is not an Instagram product and does not act on Instagram's behalf.

Availability

The instruments are free and are provided as they are. They may be slow, temporarily unavailable, or withdrawn. Instagram may change what it publishes and break a reading with no warning to anyone, including this site.

Liability

Verniera provides figures. Decisions are yours. To the extent the law allows, Verniera accepts no liability for losses arising from a decision made on the basis of a figure shown here, including a figure that turns out to be wrong.

These terms may change. The version in force is the one on this page, and material changes are dated at the bottom of it.
